Tricky start with little wind and a strong tide under us but made it work and got away in the lead with the kite up.  Very fickle down wind leg with plenty of wind holes and little zephyrs to play.  Looked pretty good at first but the pack caught us up with Whooper passing and Stan The Boat just behind.  Had to take avoiding action for an oncoming bulk carrier negotiating West Bramble which compromised our approach to South Bramble so we were third boat round.  Light wind beat to Prince Consort and further mile beat to the finish at Gurnard.  Seemed to be holding both Whooper and Stan The Boat to the finish and managed to get the win by just 7 seconds on corrected which was very pleasing
