GPS Track

Late for the published start due to engine problems but there was no prospect of a race due to the fog and lack of wind.  First attempted start was abandoned as the little wind that had built died in the final minute which was lucky for us as we would have been over the line by about 10 seconds.  Second attempt at the start went well and we were first over the line for the beat to Prince Consort.  Two Frank edged past us to round first and then it was a spinnaker leg to Dick Johnson.  Looked good for a while under kite and then the wind decided to change right round and become very patchy.  Various manoeuvres and one attempted asymmetric hoist before the wind filled in a bit more steadily for a beat to the finish.  Not a good result but with the fluky conditions and the building wind on the last beat did not favour us.  Good night in Yarmouth which was strangely quiet for a race weekend.
