Results - 2019

Interesting start at the crowded pin end of the line and diced with Ugly Duckling for space at the mark. Had to dive down the live to keep from being over (probably) then off down the Solent with sheets eased. Great leg to Hurst leading the fleet and pulling away as we didn't have to put any tacks in but a few of those following did. Past Hurst we headed for Bridge before turning West at Shingles Elbow buoy. Extract and Ugly duckling caught us going across Poole Bay but still in touch. Once past St Albans the wind veered 45 degrees so we had to beat across Weymouth Bay. The wind got up at stages and we lost out a bit and there was a tricky finish with a strong tide offset. Third in class behind a bandit and a real boat and also 2nd two handed so not too bad.
