Forecast for a brisk North Easterly backing ENE around midday but as it turned out the wind direction  stayed steady for the entire race. Packed line at the pin end with Skua IV trying to barge in and once set up it was sheets eased all the way to the NAB.  Wind speed varied quite a bit with gust up to twenty Knts and lulls down to ten.  Bit crowded rounding the Nab with Erik The Red and Bedouin inside us but once round it was sheets eased again all the way back.  Ziggy held their asymmetric for most of the way but we did not fancy it with strong gust coming through all the time.  Erik The Red used theirs but it did not seem to pay off as they were nip and tuck with us all the way to the finish.  Third on the water and managed to hold off Erik to beat them by just 5 seconds on corrected for 6th place.
