Results - 2021

Bit of a fraught getaway from the pontoon with the engine not turning over due to a broken battery clamp and then needing a bleed fuel to get it started.  Bit crowded at the committee boat end of the line and might have compromised Stan's start.  A number of boats were rigged for kites but only Stan the Boat got there's up but not for long as it wasn't paying.  Blazer and Stan the Boat got away from the fleet on the leg to West Lepe but seemed to be held up as we caught them once round Lepe Spit.  Very tricky leg to East Knoll and lost out to a number of boats but were nip and tuck with Spectrum.  Lost to clew of the kite with the gybe round East Knoll so lost some distance to Spectrum.  Another tight reach to Prince Consort then a single tack into the finish at Gurnard just keeping Spectrum behind.
