Prospects for two races did not look that good as we motored out to the start area with very little breeze.  However, after a 2 1/2 hour postponement the wind had picked up and was sufficient to get the first race underway.  Good start squeezing M'enfin out at the committee boat  end of the line then a reasonable beat to Royal Thames.  Second at the mark behind M'enfin with the rest of the fleet close behind.  Short kite leg to QXI International and a gybe at the mark and onto Hamble Yacht Services.  Good kite drop and rounding then a beat back to Royal Thames and gained some distance on the chasing pack.  Second lap of the course saw us pull a further lead on the rest with M'enfin pulling away from us.  Bit of a tricky finish but got second on the water with a third on corrected which gave us 2nd in the overall series.  No time left for the second race so that was it for the season.
