Start delayed for 2 mins silence to mark the passing of the Queen 2 days before.  Down tide down wind start with kite up and stayed in main channel for the best tide. Beat Blazer and Wacky Racer to the Forts as they went over to mainland side. Kite down at Bembridge and sheets eased to Dunnose. Heavyweight kite up for a bit when Wacky closed on us with their A sail then everybody parked up in a hole off Dunnose for about half hour of messing about before the gradient wind kicked in again for a beat to St Cats. Set GPS on finished (24 miles) and headed West, couple of tacks before final leg into finish with Wacky Racer and Expressly Forbidden in close attendance. Managed to hold them off for 2nd on the water, 4th in class on corrected and a 2nd in 2 handed.
