Bit of an unconventional start as at one point we were heading the wrong side of the committee boat so gybed the main but not the headsail. M'enfin went inside us but we got our kite up quickly and headed the fleet out to Lepe Spit. Tight reach down the Solent with wind fluctuating around 10/11 knots and going forward. Dropped the kite as we went North Channel route and headed straight for Poole Bar No. 1. Kite back up for about four miles into Poole Bar as Suvetta had caught us up.  As we approached the buoy we had an incident with another boat which ripped the port quarter of the push pit off and probably cost us about 5 minutes sorting it out before rounding the buoy.  Reciprocal course back to North Head by which time the tide had tuned so easy passage through Hurst and on to the finish at Cowes Radio.
